WWE Star’s Elevator Romance Turns Ugly: JBL Shocks Fans With Full Support After Battery Arrest

WWE superstar Ludwig Kaiser found himself in handcuffs this week after an elevator encounter at his Orlando apartment building took a violent turn. But instead of distancing themselves, wrestling legend JBL is doubling down on backing the embattled star.

According to arrest records, Kaiser was charged with battery on Tuesday following an alleged confrontation with a fellow resident. The dispute reportedly began when the neighbor complained about Kaiser and his girlfriend being “uncontrollably intimate” inside the elevator. The situation escalated, and Kaiser allegedly punched the man after they stepped off the elevator.

But here’s where the story gets messy.

Kaiser’s camp claims the neighbor hurled a racist threat, telling the couple to “show some f***ing respect before I call ICE on that bitch” — a reference to Kaiser’s Mexican girlfriend. His side insists no punches were actually thrown and that the couple was only being casually affectionate.

On the latest episode of Something To Wrestle With, JBL didn’t hold back his opinion.

“This guy is an idiot,” the Hall of Famer said of the alleged victim. “A young couple is making out in an elevator? Come on man. Then this guy gets beat up and runs to the police like a little punkass bitch. What a douchebag.”

JBL made it crystal clear where his loyalty lies.

“I’m 100 percent behind Kaiser on this, unequivocally. I’m backing this guy. He’s not a hothead. If something happened here, the guy deserved it.”

The former WWE champion even suggested the incident could backfire in the best possible way for Kaiser’s career.

“That guy said he was gonna call ICE on you and be racist to your girlfriend who is Mexican? This couldn’t be better for Kaiser. Let this story get out there.”

While JBL admitted he doesn’t know the full truth — “the truth is somewhere in the middle” — he had no interest in playing neutral.

“I don’t know what happened, but I am 100 percent backing Kaiser.”

WWE has not issued a statement on whether the arrest will affect Kaiser’s status with the company.
