WWE Has No Real Plan For LA Knight And Fans Are Starting To Get Worried
If you have been asking yourself where LA Knight disappeared to, you are not alone. One of the most popular stars in WWE has been missing from television for weeks, and no one seems to have a clear answer.
Knight was last seen in the ring during Night One of WrestleMania 42, where he teamed with The Usos to beat Logan Paul, Austin Theory, and IShowSpeed. That match aired on ESPN 2, and for a moment, everything felt right in the WWE universe.
Then things got weird.
Just 48 hours after that win, Knight showed up on the Raw after WrestleMania for a backstage faceoff with Gunther. All signs pointed to a short but intense program between the two. But instead of a feud heating up, Knight vanished. Gunther was quietly moved to SmackDown, and the Megastar was nowhere to be found.
So what is really going on?
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, WWE sources are calling the entire situation a non-story. They say Knight is simply not on TV right now. No injury. No pay dispute. No release. He was not one of the talents asked to take a pay cut or shown the door.
But here is where it gets frustrating for fans. Those same sources admitted that creative plans for several wrestlers changed fast after WrestleMania 42, and Knight is just one of many affected by the shuffle.
How does WWE not have a single thing for LA Knight?
Here is a guy who gets some of the loudest reactions every single night. He does not need a world championship to feel like a star, but you would think a company that loves money would find a way to keep him on screen. His win at Mania clearly closed the book on his issue with The Miz, but instead of moving him into something fresh, WWE just parked him on the bench.
If Raw has nothing for him right now, SmackDown is right there. SummerSlam is coming. The road to that show could use a megastar with something to prove.
As of now, no one knows if LA Knight will return on tonight’s Raw or if he is even in the creative plans for the Clash in Italy event later this month. Fans are left waiting, and that is the worst kind of storyline.
