WWE Star Finally Admits The Real Truth About Becky Lynch Tension
The wrestling world has long whispered about real-life heat between two of WWE’s biggest female superstars. Now, one of them is finally speaking out.
Charlotte Flair sat down with TMZ’s Inside The Ring and didn’t hold back when asked about her relationship with Becky Lynch. Her answer? Surprisingly honest.
“I think with Becky and I, we both wanted to be on top,” Flair admitted. “Anytime you get two alphas in the room, and they want to be the best, there’s gonna be tension. And I think that’s how it should be.”
But here’s where it gets interesting. Flair made it clear that this tension wasn’t a bad thing. In fact, she believes it pushed both of them to another level.
“If you’re not in the game to be the best, then what are you doing?” she said. “As she got better, I got better. As I got better, she got better. You want that competition.”
The rivalry that turned Lynch into “The Man” also changed Flair’s career in ways she never expected. Looking back, she admitted she was in a dark place during that time.
“When I did the sit-down interviews for this episode, I was actually out on injury, so I was like so depressed, so emotional,” Flair revealed.
What she learned from going against Lynch stuck with her. Flair recalled how Lynch was the villain getting cheered while she was the hero getting booed. Instead of fighting it, she eventually realized she needed to embrace the reaction.
“When someone is trying to be liked, that’s when everyone’s like, ‘Oh,'” she said. “I learned so much from that feud and I am where I am today due to what I learned from it.”
No bad blood. Just two alphas who made each other better. And that’s a story WWE fans can finally believe.
