Brock Lesnar Just Changed His WWE Exit Plans and Fans Are Not Ready for What Comes Next

Brock Lesnar isn’t walking away from WWE just yet. Just when everyone thought The Beast had quietly ridden off into the sunset after WrestleMania 42, new reports confirm that his current run with the company is far from over. According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, Lesnar is expected to stick around on WWE programming long after this weekend’s Clash in Italy event wraps up.

Here is what you need to know.

Lesnar’s latest chapter started with a shocking loss to Oba Femi at WrestleMania 42. That night, he left his wrestling gear in the ring and shared a long embrace with Paul Heyman. Fans were convinced that was the final goodbye.

But wrestling retirements never stick.

On the May 18 edition of Raw, Lesnar stormed back with a vicious attack on Femi, catching everyone off guard. The very next week, Heyman coolly walked up to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce and dropped a signed contract on his desk. The result is a high-stakes WrestleMania rematch between Lesnar and Femi set for Clash in Italy in Turin.

So what happens after that night?

While WWE has not locked in any official dates beyond the Italy show, all signs are pointing to SummerSlam 2026. That event is scheduled for August 1-2 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. That also happens to be Lesnar’s home state.

Do the math.

Do not expect to see Lesnar at the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event at Madison Square Garden. That appearance is not currently planned. But the bigger picture is clear. Brock Lesnar is staying on the board, and a homecoming match at SummerSlam feels almost inevitable at this point.

If you thought the Oba Femi story was finished, think again. The Beast is just getting warmed up.
