Jacob Fatu Just Revealed The One Thing WWE Fans Don’t Understand About His Bloodline Feud

Jacob Fatu may be tearing Roman Reigns apart inside the ring, but the real damage is happening closer to home.

In a candid talk on the No Contest Wrestling Podcast, the man known as The Samoan Werewolf opened up about the growing tension his brutal rivalry with Reigns is creating within his own family.

While fans are focused on the Tongan Death Grip and the physical battles, Fatu revealed that the elders of his family aren’t exactly thrilled with how personal this feud has become.

“This is the side that people don’t see,” Fatu admitted. “Yeah, there’s friction from the elders.”

He explained that in Polynesian culture, family means everything. And watching two cousins go at each other night after night doesn’t sit well with the older generation, especially those back home in San Francisco near the Cow Palace.

“It’s a little different, especially having our cousins,” Fatu said. “They’re not fans. It’s different when they see us working somebody else compared to us working together.”

He pointed to past family conflicts like the early days with Roman and Jey Uso, noting that those didn’t start off well either. Only when The Bloodline began coming together did people start to understand.

But this time feels different. And the tension is real.

Fatu also addressed fans who already believe Roman Reigns will beat him at Backlash. His full response offers even more insight into where his head is at heading into one of the biggest matches of his career.

Love the rivalry? The family drama is only getting deeper.
