Liv Morgan’s Shocking Insult About WWE Champion’s Mother Was No Accident – She Explains Why
Liv Morgan has taken her WrestleMania 42 feud with Stephanie Vaquer to a place most rivals won’t go. During a heated segment, Morgan called Vaquer’s mother “trash” in Spanish. Now she’s admitting the attack was calculated.
In an interview with Paper Magazine, Morgan revealed the personal dig wasn’t just heat of the moment. It was a strategy.
“One thing about me is I’m gonna adapt,” Morgan said. “I will figure out a way to communicate with you. I will open up my little Spanish dictionary.”
She credits Raquel for helping her get the Spanish right. And she has no regrets about crossing that line.
“I wanted to say something out of pocket,” Morgan admitted. “I thought, your mother is trash. That’s how I’m going to get her to come out and face me. Because no one’s gonna stay in the back when you’re calling out their mother. If you talk about my mother, I’m coming for you. I don’t care what I’m doing in that moment.”
Morgan says she loves how personal this rivalry has become. She knows fans can tell there’s real hate between her and Vaquer.
“They know we do not like each other,” Morgan said. “I think they know it’s on sight when we see each other. I’m talking about her mother. I called her mother trash last week.”
The former Women’s World Champion also opened up about her biggest career moments. Winning Money in the Bank and beating Ronda Rousey for her first title still feel surreal.
“That was such a pivotal moment for me,” Morgan said. “I grew up as just another fan in the stands. To have that moment of intense accomplishment was incredibly surreal.”
But right now, all her focus is on Vaquer. And she’s made it clear no family member is off limits.
