Randy Orton has just named the one opponent he absolutely needs to face before hanging up his boots for good.
In a candid chat with The Schmo ahead of WrestleMania 42, the veteran superstar admitted that a proper feud with Finn Balor is sitting right at the top of his wrestling bucket list.
“Finn Balor to me, I’ve been in the ring with him, but I’ve never had a singles match, let alone a feud,” Orton confessed. “I would love to be able to say that I did by the end of my career.”
The Viper didn’t hold back on his praise either, calling Balor “an amazing talent” and noting that “there’s nobody smoother than him.”
It might sound surprising, but despite crossing paths multiple times over the years, these two have never locked up one-on-one in a singles match throughout their entire WWE runs.
Orton also took a moment to shout out the importance of house shows, explaining how those less glamorous events help wrestlers build real chemistry, especially when stepping into the ring with someone new.
