WWE Star Blasts Fans Who Already Think Roman Reigns Will Beat Him: “That’s Ass”
Jacob Fatu isn’t here for your predictions. As he gears up for the biggest fight of his career against Roman Reigns at Backlash, the challenger is already hearing the doubters. Plenty of fans have written him off, convinced that Reigns won’t drop the World Heavyweight Championship in his very first defense after WrestleMania.
But Fatu has a raw message for anyone assuming he’s just there to lose.
In a recent interview on the No Contest Wrestling Podcast, he didn’t hold back.
“He just won it. This is the next PLE. So I can understand why people think, ‘Oh, he’s not going to lose, it’s just a match, he’s going to fall in line.’ No, that’s ass,” Fatu said. “Y’all think y’all know the booking? ‘Roman Reigns first title defense against Jacob, there’s no way Roman’s losing it’ — man, that’s ass.”
He then turned the tables on the fans who love to complain online, predicting they’ll still tune in anyway.
“Of course y’all going to be watching,” he continued. “Y’all gonna be tapped in. So everybody else complaining online about this and that, I bet you will definitely buy that ESPN app. I bet you going to be sitting there watching and enjoying the show and not saying a word during the match.”
Fatu also reminded everyone how he beat the odds just to get to WWE in the first place.
“There was no way Jacob was supposed to be here,” he said. “There was no way Jacob was supposed to have a main event PLE, Roman Reigns, right out of WrestleMania. To keep it 100, no man ain’t never ran into nobody like me.”
With Backlash approaching, Fatu is making one thing clear: don’t count him out just because the internet already has.
