Logan Paul Admits He Had No Clue About His WWE Destiny Until After WrestleMania 38
Logan Paul didn’t see himself as a wrestler. Not even close. In a candid chat on What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon, the YouTube star turned in-ring performer opened up about how he stumbled into WWE, what Vince McMahon really told him, and the exact moment it all clicked.
Paul made his tag team debut at WrestleMania 38, partnering with The Miz against Rey and Dominik Mysterio. But back then, he wasn’t buying his own hype.
On Being “Born” to Wrestle
“My first ever video was me and Jake doing stunts in our basement,” Paul said. “Which is exactly what I’m doing now, except I’m in a ring in front of 50,000 people. I was literally born, bred, and designed to be a wrestler.”
On When He Finally Believed It

Here’s where it gets honest. Paul admitted he didn’t see his future in WWE at all. Not until after that first Mania.
“I came backstage and your dad [Vince McMahon] was like, ‘Your future is here,'” Paul recalled. “I was like, ‘Okay, buddy. We’ll see about that.'”
Then he walked into the locker room and watched himself back.
“I see me doing the frog splash and all those moves with The Miz. I was like, ‘Yo, I look like a wrestler. This is crazy.’ I was buying what I was selling in that ring. I was like, ‘Oh s**t. Maybe Vince was right.'”
Sometimes the last person to see your own potential is you. For Logan Paul, it took a frog splash and a locker room mirror to finally get the message.
